Nice Girls  (2017)

Women are freer and more respected than they have been in the scope of recent memory, but many realities of femininity and womanhood are still denied, denigrated, and taxed by the political and social powers that be. This work strives to make space for women, and span the spectrum of individuals who identify with what it means to be feminine, to be a woman. This work is as concerned with tenderness as it is with strength; independence as much as interdependence. We believe that allowing ourselves to be seen as we are is a necessary act of revolution.

Nice Girls has been shown at the Smashworks Film Festival, SPARK Film Festival, Triskelion Art's Film Festival, and Trans(m)it: Movement in Film in London, UK.
